There is no assembly needed as the tent arrives to your doorstep already on the dowel rods and instructions are included on how to open and maintain properly. The tent stands 5' 6" tall and the base measures approximately 41' by 41'. It can be easily folded up like an umbrella to be transported and stored in different areas, or even taken outside. However, it should be brought inside after use. The Indigo Play Tent is machine washable and should be tumble dried on a low heat setting.
